This is really interesting. I wonder if Bowie was actually familiar with DMB's discography, and told Dave he loved The Stone, or if after watching Dave's set at that show (DM performed The Stone and Everyday) he said something like, "Hey man, I really loved that first song you played today." It would be interesting to know if Bowie was actually a fan.
