I know you’ve played Oaks before- first 6 holes are just impossibly tight. Not really difficult otherwise but with no range there to warm up it’s a pretty unforgiving way to start a round with needing such precision like that.

Yup... it's not a very friendly start. Manageable course overall, but need to keep your drives contained. Same shit with Balboa, so much trouble if you're barely off the fairways.
