I agree 100% whereas the meadows while still a great place to see a concert has a lawn where many angles suck. Then the pavillion has limited elevation the closer you get. I have been upper deck both mohegan shows the band has played there and enjoyed it. Plus you don't have to worry about loud frat bros who won't shut up during the songs.
Parking is a breeze because many people stay a little bit and after the show i always pick up krispy kreme donuts fresh from the store. A1 dining options as well before the show.
Seeing that i am 29 and not a college kid anymore i don't need the tailgate scene of Hartford as much as i need the elevated no bad seat setup of Mohegan.
