Stand Up Album release show at Roseland 2005

Freshman year of college at a small(ish) school in CT. DMB announces their album release party at Roseland. Me being a broke college kid I figure the casino is the best shot of raising funds. I head up to Mohegan sun about 2 weeks before the show and within an hour I'm up around $2,000... happy dance time.
I buy a ticket for $300 of a website that shall not be named and we're good to go. HOWEVER, I come to find the final for one my classes is on the day after the show at 830am... shit
Lets play spot the lie...
i study hard, go to the show, have the time of my life and crush the test.
I ended up studying casually, absolutely went to the show and had what i still consider to be one of the best DMB experiences (out of close to 80 shows) of my life but most definitely did not crush the test. Failed the test, had to retake the class during the summer which actually didnt turn out too bad, considering how easy the class was at a CC.
Most importantly, made an incredible memory seeing one of my favorite bands, in one of the smallest venues they've played in close to 20 years.
