agreed - if they would take ....at least one song, and just throw a 3-5 minute improv jam at the end of it, so different each night, and just wing it and see where it goes it would thrill all fans. With as muich natural talent as they have, I just have never understood why they don't do this a bit more often. I get they aren't a "jam band", but I've seen this band JAM on several occasions, and they always look like they are having a blast, and the moments are epic and never forgotten. Hoping they come out of their shell a bit and just trust their talent and let it fly for a bit. When they do that, the songs in the set become irrelevant. 12-7-98 on paper was average, but listen to the show - the end of 2 step was like no other version ever, and my personal favorite.
