i went to UW-Whitewater for school for two years. honestly, there are soooo many fields around so you could find a place to set up camp and not pay. it would be easy to find a place where no one would find you. otherwise kettle moraine has some good campsites if you are looking for a legit campground... shoot me a pm if you have questions or put up a post in this thread, there are someother Alpine veterans that may have some advice for you...
