Is Carter Beauford a great drummer? Yes
Is he one of the best drummers of all time? Probably not
Is he better now than he used? I dunno, maybe. Past or present, both are great with me
Is Carter Beauford's drumming a good fit with this band? Absolutely
Is Dave Matthews as good a guitar player as John Mayer? No
Is Dave's song writing ability better? Depends on preference. For me, yes, by a lot.
