It feels weird to absolutely love every aspect of this song aside from the chorus. I’ve tried for a while to enjoy the whole thing but I just can’t. To me, the chorus is as cringe as DMB can get. “Free the beast” level cringe. With that said, I like how it was recorded and I do love the rest of the song so overall I’ll take it as a win. Just wish they took the verse/pre-chorus mood and went in the same direction for the chorus.
