Yes, it's fun. The festie kids are there, but they crash the front no-chair zone. People our age chill back in the chair zone. Other than the big big headliners, you can get a decent view at every stage without being cramped. There will be molly'd out festie kids and families there with their kids, and neither interferes with the experience of the other.

yeah in 4-5 ACLs I've been to I've NEVER had an issue.
it's certainly packed at the front by the time the last 2 bands come on each stage, but the way it's laid out, there's tons of room behind like Matthew said.
I really enjoy it ACL. It's gotten noticeably better since I started going in 14 or 15, too.
