I really like the lawn here. It’s not nearly as big as Jiffy Lube and it’s pretty. The sound is great and if you’re standing, you can see the stage decently, or if you’re laying in the grass, the screens are really nice. It’s easy to get around to any of the beer lines or bathrooms, and their beer selection and food is pretty decent.
We’ll do lawn a lot at this venue, and we won’t do lawn anywhere else (aside from Wolf Trap).
We’ve been to shows here where we’ve had seats and opted to just stay in the lawn because it’s a pretty night.
Nothing beats being in the front rows of seats for a favorite band, but if you’re doing lawn it’s not a bad experience here.
