I agree. Nothing on Spaceman, very little on Squirm, You and Me, etc. I am surprised at the lack of horns, considering there were two players during these sessions. Maybe they're there, and they were just mixed back, but I find that it takes away that differentiating quality.

This is particularly annoying. We hear Boyd on his own in what, two songs? Otherwise, it's just background stuff. I am not overly impressed with the string arrangements either, with the orchestral stuff on Baby Blue and Dive In.
