Fucking amateur level of play. Awful.

Unless you've got a play where the goal is worth 3, it's pointless. Take the L and go back to TN.

EDIT: Embarrassing embarrassing game.

Don't have my final until Thursday so tonight was a night off.

Mission Accomplished: I almost don't remember how badly we played tonight.

Re: NHL 2011/2012 Thread

So I will return to what Chris and I were saying at the start of the playoffs about how the Wings should have wanted to lose to play Phoenix. The team that held the Wings offense in check, besides the Wings themselves, is now down 2-0 to the team the Wings would have played had they lost in regulation the last game.

The positive side of it is that maybe Suter will be like they are no better I'm going to Detroit. :) The bad side is that it gives the Yotes more time to work on a deal to stay put. Would be pretty funny if after two first round losses where we thought they were leaving they don't but when they go deep into the playoffs they still move.

Happy birthday Chris Kreider. In just under two weeks, you've become the rangers' best player!

Well he'll be back in Russia in September and Suter will be in Detroit and Gaustad will be somewhere making $4mil a year.

think both series get even tonight...can't see the Kings winning both on the road again and feeling like the Caps get a win.
IF the Rangers do win tonight, they win this series in no more than 5

Caps got unlucky with some posts off Hank. I can see them scoring 2 tonight, max

Hitchcock, Tortorella, and MacLean for Adams:

Could've been quite a few coaches this year, but I can agree with these three for sure.

just don't see them coming back from 2-0, although I really hope they do win tonight and make it a series...otherwise, they are in trouble headed to DC down 0-2.

if they got unlucky and hit the post, wouldn't that mean they may score more tonight?

Two of the post hits were pucks that hit hank on the way in, for what that's worth.

Game 1 the rangers were more the team they were during 82 games in the regular season than the entire first round. I expect another big effort.

oh my bad...I was mostly trying to get some talk on tonight's games started...I really do hope the Caps can make a series out of it, you know as a Flyers fan best case scenario the Rangers disappear:)

I'm glad they ripped him apart. We brought him over specifically for a playoff run and he's been horrendous. He's got a shit attitude and to top it off he's playing like shit as well.

Nashville's going to have to get unrattled real fuckin quick if we want to keep PHX from going up 3-0. We can definitely take 2 games in Nashville.

Trotz. As was said on twitter. 7th lowest payroll to 5th best record. And he keeps doing it as guys on the team change year after year it seems with some of them.

That's my biggest beef. You know of my love for him. He deserves an Adams so effin' bad.

EDIT: If I could put him into the top 3, it would be in place of MacLean. No doubt he's done a killer job with the Sens this year. But it's the consistency of Trotz year after year with a seemingly mediocre roster that makes him front runner in my book.

I think MacLean is more deserving THIS YEAR than Trotz. Trotz should have one by now but that roster is far from mediocre. They have 2 of the top 5 defensemen in the game + Pekka Rinne. Many were picking the Sens to be one of the bottom 2 teams in the East before the season and they ended up with 90+ points.

Re: NHL 2011/2012 Thread

I would take Trotz hands down. Also have no clue how Holmgren was not considered for GM of the year. Just about nailed every move he made this offseason and the Flyers are better off for it.
