Talking about fighting again but sorry Burkie Colton Orr just isn't much of a player. The true fighter has been going away for a long time. Find players who can do both and not just fricking thugs. Oh wait this is Brian Burke.

Though props to the blogger for trying to get something done about it. At least one of your fans knows there all Flyers fans are idiots.

And how about the rest of the fans who commented on the blog and got one of the idiots to further indict himself? Make no mistake, the actions of these "Flyers fans" is inexcusable, and they should be punished to the extent of the law, but let's not forget that this isn't just a Flyers, or Philly problem. It happens all over the place.

I applaud the actions of Travis and the rest of the decent, respectable fans of this organization who condemned the actions these idiots.

Shame on you, Brohan, to come in here, when you don't even know the fundamentals of the sport you talk about, and try your very best to undermine a fan base because of one incident.

I mean, that's like us assuming the Capitals are a great team because they win President's Trophies and have Alex Ovechkin! No one would ever overrate the Capitals based off of those two components alone.

Oh, and Travis is more than just "a blogger." Sites like his (Broad Street Hockey) and the one I write for (The Checking Line) do more than talk about how gorgeous Claude Giroux is or why we love 88. We are credentialed, do first-hand journalism and have the following to do great work like Travis does.

Don't call us "bloggers."

Flyers fans have no more incidents at their games than other NHL teams.

I have a friend who has written for TCL before, don't need to give me that lecture.

Can never miss the opportunity to poke fun at one of the worst fan bases in sports.

I also noticed that TCL only has 2 Caps writers and like 29475039 philly writers. I think it's time for Brohan to dust off the keyboard

Because the Flyers have their own site: http://flyers.thecheckingline.com

In fact, it was our site that really helped get TCL off the ground and to the next level. We were the first team site and the Flyers were the first to give us credentials.

Welcome to my blog. The Capitals are good. So good. Alex Ovechkin is the best player in hockey, and because of that fact that Capitals are the best team in the NHL. They won a President's Trophy, which is awesome. Also, the Flyers are horrible, regardless of their record. And they're fans are the worst because of a few isolated incidents that happen all over but I'm only focusing on them.

CAPS!

How about you dust off your keyboard and discuss with us in this thread? You know, instead of generalizing and being completely ignorant before running off like you always do?

Throw in some MS Paint pics of Ovechkin riding a Pegasus and we're golden.

Tweet from Pierre Lebrun:

@Real_ESPNLeBrun Pierre LeBrun
Joe Resnick, agent for Rick Nash, says nothing has changed. Nash still wants to stay in Columbus and be part of solution...

God bless Rick Nash for his loyalty, but man... I can't help but think how great he would be on a winning team. He's already developed into a great all-around player as he attempts to personally carry the Blue Jackets to any sort of success, imagine him taking that game to a place where he could be surrounded by some other greats, particularly a good centerman.

Usually a superstar who signs his life away to a losing team will be looked down upon if he requests a trade but idint even think there are any Blue Jackets fans who would care. Nash will get traded as soon as Howson is fired.

On Datsyuk's wing...ahhh nice. He did say he'd waive his no-trade if the team thought it would help. He's not that old yet so there is time for that team to right the ship but I don't see it happening. It's gonna be even tougher next season with the divisional playoffs. Detroit and Chicago lock up two of the 4 so they'll be fighting for 2 spots with 6 teams. If Blues can continue this they should be one of them but thats their problem they never can keep it up. Jets aren't looking so bad right now and Minny is a tough team too. And Nashville is always a fighter.
