Cumiskey was directly responsible for the Paquette goal in game 3, partially responsible for the Paquette goal in game 2, and only skated 7 minutes in game 3 and 5 minutes in games 1 and 2.

Not sure what Bron is talking about (per usual). Pretty sure Kimmo can't do worse than Cumiskey has been.

Still don't understand not putting 10 or 86 on the left side of the 2nd line instead of rotating Bickell and Versteeg, but...what do I know.

My thought as well.

No idea either but Q's gut has served him pretty well as a coach so I cannot question his setting up matchups all that much.

What we really need is a a 5 goal win where we are up 4 going into the third so we can give some rest to Keith, Seabrook, Oduya and Hjalmarsson.

Melrose said something the other day that I've been saying for a long time.

For YEARS, people have been talking about the "milage" put on some Hawk defensemen, especially Keith and Seabrook...and I have yet to see it slow them down.

Duncan Keith loves playing minutes. We don't need to rest anyone. That's just a media story that doesn't actually exist on the ice.

I completely agree, especially regarding Keith but giving them some rest before 2 days off would not be a bad thing IMO - especially against a quick ass, young team like this expansion team we are playing.

Drop the holier than thou routine. Everyone's an expansion team of you weren't original 6. No one gives a shit about what happened in 1934 or whenever. What matters is now. Coincidently should the Bolts win the Cup this year they will have beaten 4 of those 6 original teams.

So instead you'll.....? I was just saying, trying to bring down Tampa by calling them an expansion team a bit childish. Yes, hockey is traditionally a northern/Midwestern/Canadian sport but that doesn't mean other markets can't have or like the sport. Tampa has a cup in their short history, trying to get another, and has a pretty strong local market seeing as they're in the top ten in attendance almost every year. Just writing them off like that because your teams been around longer isn't a very intelligent point to make.

The last four years is not "almost every year." Calm down, child. We're all just having fun. Don't go space_raven on us.

Yeah I mean I'm not really angry or anything lol. Comments like those are just frustrating. But from 93-97 they were top 3 and they've been top 12 8 of 10 years since the lockout. For much of their short history they've been pretty good in attendance. It's just not fair to write them off as some expansion team that has no business having a franchise. Florida doesn't have the market for two teams, I would absolutely agree with that, but the Lightning aren't the team that's the problem.

My apologies for being a dick, sports and politics bring out the worst in me - worse is the fact that Chicago blew game 3, they should be up 2-1.

They may not have the quantity but the quality is there for the Blackhawks. Lucky that one hit the post but I'm happy with how we're playing.
