A sweep going into the finals would be awesome.

Mtl got out to a huge start, scored, and then died. They didn't play poorly, but they didn't do what they were supposed to.

I'm pretty sure both LA and Chicago have NOOOOOO interest in seeing Hank in the SCF.

The kings already lost a game though

So "Penguins defenseman Kris Letang suffered a broken foot in Game 6 of the Penguins’ division final against the NY Rangers, followed by a broken hand in Game 7." Because it's the Cup.

Man, what a game by the Rangers last night!

That was all Hank and Gorges. lol If that first NYR goal doesn't go in so quickly after the Habs goal it might be different. That took the air right out of that place.

Bell center was pretty quiet for both games. Credit NY for keeping that atmosphere in check. But yeah momentum is huge and that first Rangers goal was a big game changer!

Crawford loves winning against elite goalies.

Kane has been notoriously and admittedly bad against Hank. He himself has stated multiple times that he just can't figure out Lundqvist and that Hank has his number.

I don't like that. ESEPCIALLY when Lundqvist is playing this insanely well.

Hank has been very Kingly right now. Even though he's a Ranger I really want to see him raise the Cup. He deserves it.

Actual conversation with my wife who, until we got together 8 years ago knew absolutely nothing about hockey and who "pretends" to not be as interested in it as I am. She claims to be a Pens fan and really likes Geno, so she's obviously got some things to learn ;)

Me: So your Pens are out and my Avs are out, who are we gonna cheer for?
Nikki: Not sure, but I was thinking the Rangers.
Me: Oh yeah? Why?
Nikki: So that one Staal brother doesn't feel bad around his brothers anymore.
Me: Wait... how do you know--
Nikki: Duh. The one brother got the Cup with the Hurricanes while we were dating, and Jordan Staal got it with the Penguins. So there's one on the Rangers too, right? He should get one.
Me: <grabs condom>

Needless to say, proud moment for this guy. Regardless of her reasoning, the fact that my wife knows who players are and other interesting factoids about them is tremendously hot.

Kane needs to not say things like that....Still a long way to get to the Rangers anyway....Kings are not gonna roll over.

Hank is on a level I've never seen from him in his career. Trying to remember the last "bad" goal he allowed. Game 4 v Pens? The only goals he's allowing deflect off his defensemen, take funny bounces, bounce off his paddle. It's a real treat watching this guy do his thing right now.

Amazing :thumbsup

My girlfriend is a Wings fan. She is kind of rooting for the Rangers...but not as much as I would like!

The speculation and crazy crap that comes out is amazing. I mean the crazy theory from that Pitt "journalist", my $400mil buyout is more realistic than that. I really hope he signs an extension this summer or fall and shut these things up. I want him to stay.

I'm looking forward to the offseason, should be fun. Want to see how they improve and then what this team can be with the kids and the veterans, assuming health of course.
