Re: NHL 2011/2012 Thread
Fleury has been excellent tonight. Hawks need to get bodies to the net.
|
Re: NHL 2011/2012 Thread
5 FUCKING minutes.
|
Re: NHL 2011/2012 Thread
God, I hate this team. So glad we only see them once. Of all teams to be constantly targeting heads and leaving their feet...

Re: NHL 2011/2012 Thread
Hawks are just out of sorts tonight. Credit to the Pens, who are playing extremely good hockey. Malkin and Fleury are the best players on the ice tonight.
Unfortunately the Hawks have played very poorly against one of the most banged up blue lines in the league. |
Re: NHL 2011/2012 Thread
Malkin is playing fucking dominant.
|
Re: NHL 2011/2012 Thread
damn that was pretty

Re: NHL 2011/2012 Thread
Keep it right the fuck up.

Re: NHL 2011/2012 Thread
Stalberg - WHERE HAS THIS BEEN FOR 15 MONTHS?!
|
Re: NHL 2011/2012 Thread
its times like these i wish michalek and letang were healthy.
|
Re: NHL 2011/2012 Thread
Dirty, dirty Pens.
|
Re: NHL 2011/2012 Thread
oh man, what an ending this is, my heart is in my throat.
great game hawks. |
Re: NHL 2011/2012 Thread
So much bitching in this thread.
|
Re: NHL 2011/2012 Thread
great game
|
Re: NHL 2011/2012 Thread
Hell of a 3rd period. That's what that whole game should have been.
Fleury, if absolutely nothing else, is as clutch as it gets between the pipes. |
Re: NHL 2011/2012 Thread
How about malkin, 15 points in last 6 games. now has 39 points to tie for the league lead, BUT he has only played 27 games, about 6 less than everyone else in the top ten.
|
Re: NHL 2011/2012 Thread
Fleury was outstanding. Pens played a very solid game, and it's pretty impressive what they are doing with the injuries on defense.
Still, they were gifted a PP from the refs in the first that really should've been 5 minutes the other way. That's a shame. |
Re: NHL 2011/2012 Thread
At the same time, the Hawks made lots of mistakes. Played a lot of bad hockey that first 40 minutes.
Obviously two of the top teams in the NHL. Bylsma is a hell of a coach, and the skill goes really step it up for him. Malkin is impressive to say the least. |
Re: NHL 2011/2012 Thread
These two teams would make for a hell of a final
|
Re: NHL 2011/2012 Thread
Would love/hate to see this final. It would be entertaining as hell, but I hate the Penguins a little more than I normally would because of this thread :lol

Re: NHL 2011/2012 Thread
This final would be fun as hell, but at the same time I would be freaking out for a solid couple weeks. I don't know if I could handle it :lol
My only problem with the Pens is the headshots taken tonight. Two hits where players are leaving their skates. Completely uncalled for, and Shanahan will probably be reviewing them both. |
Re: NHL 2011/2012 Thread
that felt like the playoffs there towards the end.
|
Re: NHL 2011/2012 Thread
It was a really fun game to watch. Bylsma is a fantastic coach, he really is. For the Pens to play such solid defense without Letang, without Michalek, without Martin. That's impressive.
It's also pretty frightening that a team has a legitimate claim on perhaps the two best scorers in the league. |
