I have a feeling this may end up becoming a reality. I think there's a lot of pressure of Leonsis to obtain a head coach with a substantial amount of NHL success. And it seems logical that Trotz's new home would either be in DC or Vancouver. I would very much be ok with this happening

Trotz and Ovie is like putting mayo on a steak. It just doesn't make sense.

Ovie with any coach doesn't make sense these days. You gotta do what's best for the team and I think that's Trotz. If Ovie doesn't want to listen to him, then screw him. He doesn't seem to give a shit either way so might as well get the best coach for the team.

Yeah, pretty much what Tim said. Caps can't cater to Ovie anymore. He'll either get on the bus or he won't

It seems like after this season, the Ovie charm is finally starting to wear off.
