I said after they beat the Wings at the game I went to, the Habs impressed me a lot. Price has got to be flying high.

oh I without a doubt believe at least one game in Canada will be decided because of the refs

This is hilarious for a guy who rails against the Flyers for not winning anything since 1975. :lol:lol:lol

Aren't the Eagles the gold standard of the NFL too? How many Super Bowls have they won? 10?

I felt the exact same way about the Eagles from 2006 until last year, when they finally did what they should have 7 years earlier (and what the Flyers still refuse to do).

Rangers are playing really good hockey, thing is the Flyers are not playing super shitty. They are still in this series. I don't think the Rags are going to have 28 blocked shots again on Friday. This has been a good series, save game 1.

Last night was a good game? :ugh

I don't think we need a full front office change. I just think management has to be patient and let the team grow every few years. But that's connected to a wired in owner who is desperate mode for a Stanley Cup.

They also need to revamp and retool their talent evaluation in the drafts, but once again, that needs time.

The bold completely proves my point. 39 years of ineptitude but we just need to be patient. Fucking hell. :BANG

Honest question - do you care about winning at all?

Dude, winning the Cup is hard enough. Winning the Cup when you change the core of the team every two years is harder. FO needs to be patient with its young players, simple enough.

So 7 games for Cooke? Seems soft to me. Why the NHL won't learn that until they actually throw the book at players for this stuff it's never gonna stop is beyond me. I was honestly thinking 10+ was coming

You must have failed the reading comprehension part of the SAT.

I was referring to how management has to be patient with a plan/core of players. Making huge trades, throwing away draft picks, etc. is not building long-term success. They are like Matt Stairs swinging the bat. They go for home run each and every time. If they miss, the strikeout is going to look terrible.

And that's all they've done for over a decade. How you can't see that is beyond me.

Is hockey really gonna try and make "the fifth line" a thing? The football 12th man stuff is so stupid I would hate to pick up such a bad habit.

In hindsight playing that puck was probably a bad move.

It took him 4 games this year to have his first bad meltdown, that's a success for Fleury!

Edit: and just another example of why I never play the puck during my games lol.
