When I lived in NC I literally had never acknowledged Swedish Fish as anything other than a shitty candy that was in the candy aisle but no one ever bought, like lemonheads (which are actually good, but why choose lemonheads in an aisle full of better candy) or that roll of chalky coins that is kind of like tums, but sweet.

Then I moved to Pittsburgh and they are a staple of the candy milieu. Disgusting.

I love a Mr. Goodbar as well. Simple, direct, to the point. No fooling around with bells and whistles.

The Heath is a good choice as well, but you run into real freshness issues (similar to the Nerds Rope in that regard).
