Fair point. But no it isn't shocking and his opinions don't bother me but I think thats best reserved for the fund raisers he plays like for Bernie and Obama and at the march for our life thing. By all means go do that! But dont do it at these types of shows, there's no point

99% of the country agrees with him on this topic. He brings it up at every show lately. Nobody paid to hear politics.. they want to relax and enjoy music.

Edit: Also, 95% of the venue is fucking slammed. 85% are high as fuck and don't care. 20% on molly, 5% on shrooms.. nobody gives a FUCK! lol

Dave is one of the least overtly political people I’ve heard of on stage.... y’all who don’t like it should see a U2 show. It’s just as much about the politics as it is the music there.

This. It doesn't bother me that Dave mentions this because (a) he's respectful of other people's views, and (b) he rarely gets political on stage.

I'm a big U2 fan and have seen them live many times. You are dead on, the show and the set itself are centered around politics.
