NOTES (taken from Adam Nelson's original seed 11/7/2006):
----------
I was the original taper of this show and did not realize the only circulating version has an analog copy or two in the lineage.

From his original notes, this show has distant sound and slightly muffled. It's not a terrible recording, but is a bit rough.

The encore is short because Dave mentions that they went over their allotted time. So they just played a short song. This is the only time I am aware of STJL being a closer, let alone a sole encore song.

I re-transferred this from my master DAT, and did some EQ to bring up the vocals and bring down the bass a bit in Audacity, and re-normalized. I spent years playing with this off and on and just finished last year.

By the way, I also have the Big Head Todd and the Monsters set from this same night if anyone is interested (they were touring together as co-headliners).

Ants Marching sample..

I'm especially interested in feedback, this is my first real attempt at equalization/etc.

Speaking of, does anyone know any good resources for live audience recordings to deal with acoustics?

I have a Phil Collins show that has no crowd noise (recorded from balcony) but it sounds distant. Trying to figure out how to deal with it..
