Oh man, I forgot how long it has been for the Flyers too. Just looked it up.

I thought Point would get it too, but Hedman was a close second.

I was half-expecting them to give it to Khudobin. I was cheering for Tampa but would've loved to see him be recognized for what he did for the Stars during their run. I remember when Giguere won it in '03 as a member of the losing team and while he was obviously heartbroken as he received the award, it was still a pretty cool moment.

Non Philly fans can tend to forget because they've at least been in the Final seven times since they last won and were in the playoffs 80% of the years since.

Sitting on the bank of the Hillsborough River waiting on the Stanley Cup to float by in the parade. 79 degrees and breezy, perfect day. :cool

He can try, but I think that’s an unattainable title.

For sure. With Ovi it wasn't just the intensity, it was the consistency. He seemed to be on a pretty perpetual bender for basically the whole offseason.

Took a bunch of pictures at the Stanley Cup parade down the river in Tampa yesterday, very cool event. Basically no social distancing on one side of the river, but we went to the other side and found a patch of grass in the shade with few people around us. Here's the album, including some non-Stanley Cup photos because the sunset was incredible last night.

:thumbsup Really cool pics! Loved the building & sunset ones. Glad you had a great day! Congrats to your team.

It’s always so strange seeing the Cup out with a team after they win it. I met my fiancé because of the Cup. I get a little irritated seeing it have good times with other (well deserved) players. :lol It’s so strange. Can’t imagine the way players feel after they get a taste of it.

Matt Niskanen reportedly told the Flyers he plans to retired. As much as I don't want to see him go, that $5.75M coming off the books just made the Flyers serious players this offseason. Happy trails, Nisky! Thanks for a great year!

Not really. I'm sure Oilers fans would like to have what Tampa has.

Hank still wants to play. Do we like Washington as a fit?

I would actually love to see the Avs bring in someone like Hank or Fleury just for a year or two to take on a backup/1B role during what is hopefully *knock on wood* the opening of their Cup window.

I know, first draft pick like this to not immediately be “the guy.” Imagine having to play behind Panarin and Mika!
