At the end of the day I must say that it’s pretty awesome to see Ovie hit 1,000 games. I know there still isn’t a Cup. But for him to do what he’s done, all the while representing the team I love, and to now reach 1,000 games with that team, that’s pretty cool. I don’t know the exact stat for players to hit 1k with the same team, but I can’t imagine it’s very many. That’s pretty awesome.

Dustin Brown is one of them ;)

Edit: Dustin was 30th to do so earlier this year

I can’t believe the Avs gave up a 3-1 lead to the Ducks. Went to OT making it a 3 point game, worst scenario for the Kings.

Sedins hanging 'em up after this season. What a joy to watch them over the years - it's a shame they never won a Cup. Class personified, and how cool that they got to play together their whole career.

was wondering what they were gonna do. With the Canucks in full rebuild they weren't gonna stay there so wondered if they would have tried to go somewhere else. Couldn't see them in another jersey anyways.

Yeah, it is a pretty damn exclusive club, especially when a guy does it all on one team. Last week Brent Seabrook hit that milestone in Chicago and they had a great pre-game ceremony with awards, messages from other players, messages from opposing teams and a ton of respect shown by the Jets who could have all sat in the locker room but all stood on the bench instead. To to it off the Hawks winning 6-2 but in an ironic twist his accomplishment was largely overshadowed by Scott Foster having to come in as an emergency goalie and playing great - seems to be the theme of Seabrook's career, whatever he accomplishes always appears to be overshadowed by something a team-mate did in the game but never in a million year would I have guessed THIS accomplishment would be overshadowed by a 36 year old emergency goalie making his NHL debut! :lol
