If you get upper level theyre like 75-85 each. Single games went on sale this morning.

Yeah, Wings tickets upstairs are about the same. But 9 years ago I could get halfway up upper bowl closer to center ice for like $50 a ticket. Now those seats are $100+ depending on the game.

edit: I mean I paid $225 for a lower bowl ticket at about the faceoff circle to game 5 of the Western Finals in 2007. I just paid $170 for a lower bowl ticket in an end-zone that the Wings only shoot at once for a game against NYR in December.

hey everyone. So, the last few years i have nominally been the commissioner of the Ants hockey league. That being said I have been extremely absent (both in the league and on this site). I would like you all to be able to keep the league going using the history that is there in terms of trades and winners and stuff.

Is there anyone who wants to be commissioner and take over?

Whenever the fantasy league got mentioned, I was planning to gracefully bow out. Just don't have the time to keep up with it. Last year I think I set my lineup like twice all year. If anyone would like my spot, by all means, go nuts.

To the bold, well - I do not think he is over-rated, I think he is a damn good player who was on some truly lousy teams with sub-par supporting casts. Had he been on a deeper team his numbers would be much higher. Regardless though, even on those bad teams he put up numbers that are impressive: 402 goals, 570 assists (972 points) in 1,540 games. Yeah, he probably took too many penalties but I would guess some of those were out of frustration with his shallow teams. This guy would have thrived on a better team IMO.

Just out of curiosity, how many Pen's are now 3X champs - off the top of my head I am thinking Crosby, Malkin, Kunitz, Letang and Fleury but am sure I am missing a few guys.

My tour of LCA is Saturday. That's the most excitement I've got coming for hockey. I was at U2 at Ford Field on Sunday and my friend's buddy who works for Olympia Entertainment was supposed to give us one before the concert but never made it back to us in the lots. I have a feeling that tour would have been a lot cooler.

NHL.tv is frustrating at times I have had a subscription with them for the past 4 seasons, for the first three I only chose to pay for the Hawks games but last season I paid the extra 30 bucks to get every game for all the teams but my auto renewal somehow brought me back to t he single team package for some reason. Now I am on the phone with the tech people to rectify it and I have to create a whole new account with a new username and PW which basically means I have to update both my computer and Roku to have the new UN/PW's. UGH!
