It's scary. And the thing is, they're getting what they need from every player and every line. There's really not a weak link on their team right now. All are playing within the safety of the system, and that's making them very dangerous.

Alexander Ovechkin voted as "player most likely to rub two sticks together if you ask if he has a light." :lol

i agree...the only thing i'm not 100% sold on is Jones in net

he has great numbers this post season, but the Blues are a different animal...he's going to see more traffic and more puck this series for sure. interested to see how he responds

Yeah, the Blues have a really strong net front presence with big, aggressive forwards. Moreso than the Preds and Kings for sure. I agree it will be a big test for him.

Yeah, tough call but I am too patriotic to cheer for someone over a US team.

Yeah, central is going to be a bitch too again. I expect both the Preds and Wild to make a couple of moves to be more competitive and perhaps the Avs will do the same to make it even more interesting. Then you have the Hawks, Blues and Stars who will make the playoffs fairly easily barring a major injury or other issue.

Yeah this is our first trip there. Only have heard bad things :lol

Setlists seem to be good though. Weve got seats so we dont have to deal with the astro turf.

Gorgeous venue. Was there 04-06 but haven't been back since. Being a weekend show it was hard to pass up with no tour next summer.

Damn, you are making me feel old today. :(

My first show was 2/5/95 (ticket price for a 3rd row seat on the day of, at the gate: $17.95) in New Haven, CT - enjoyed it so much that the next day my girl at the time went out and bought a dozen tickets (wanted to bring friends to get them into it) for the 2 Roseland shows later that month. Worked out pretty well. :lol

and yea, the sets are pretty good usually.

Honestly, as much as I cannot stand teams from PA the Caps didn't deserve to win. They ran into a buzz saw in Murray, they got outskated, their D fell flat, they failed to gain any momentum and the completely blew a golden opportunity to even up that series when both Letang and Maatta were out in game 4.

Nice to see a convincing win by the US last night over France in the hockey world championship. Damned if Panarin isn't showing his stuff on the world stage as well, 3 goals and 6 assists in 4 games - damn that is solid. Also, I expect some teams looking to add a potent center will take a peek at Vadim Shipachyov - he has 3 goals and 7 assists in 4 games so far.

Asking you to sit? jesus. I hope noone bitches when Im toking in my seats.

Were gonna be hitting up the winking lizard too. Were staying west of Columbus after riverbend so we will probably head up to blossom from there around noon. Guessing we will arrive at the lizard around 2 or 2:30.

Premier parking has been hit or miss for me. In 2014 I didnt hurry back to the car and we got stuck there for over an hour after the show (which is complete bullshit when Im paying $20.

I saw someone say theres a lot off of the secondary entrance that you can get out within 10 mins, just a bit of a walk to the gate. Were driving back to Pgh after the show, so that might be the play.

Hedman was some sort of Brad Pitt lookalike thing

Thonton was "most likely to be a puppeteer at a public library."

Same thing happened to us last year RE premier parking. Don't do it IMO unless you have PIT tix and need to line up early.

Yeah, there is a lot off of the Valley gate. It's great. But for the last several years we've been lined up when the lots open and they wouldn't let us park there. Seems like they've started to save that lot for later overflow.

Re: The NHL Thread

Really looking forward to the game tonight. Game 1's haven't exactly been the Bolts strong suit so far but maybe being on the road for this one will have them a little more focused.

Stralman, Stamkos, and JT Brown all participated in the optional morning skate wearing regular jerseys, first practice without a red one for Stammer, but they won't be playing tonight. Hopefully they can make an appearance at some point this round, Stralman's probably the most likely, but all Cooper's been putting out is "when they're back they're back, you'll see them out there".

oh believe me, they yell at you for smoking in the pavilion at Riverbend, be careful...it was another reason why i just moved back to the turf

and yea, i'm driving back to pittsburgh after the show too...last year i didn't get premiere parking and as soon as the last note of watchtower was played i husteled back to the car...got out of the lot in under 10 minutes...might have been a lucky break though
