So happy I finally have a staple tour venue in my backyard! Excited to hit Camden for the first time. Any insight on the venue from veterans?

Nope, it's your typical cookie cutter amphitheater with expensive parking and overpriced bud light. Friday will be a ghost town so it's always nice to catch a show from the lawn. Saturday show will be a good crowd.

Great timing on these shows, wife and I have tickets for Sunday to see Matchbox 20 that was postponed since 2020...might be able to convince her to do both nights now!

Thanks! I'll hop on the patco to get there so I don't have to worry about parking. How's the pit, size wise?

Ferry from Penns Landing is a good option as well if you're coming from Philly

One thing to consider for newbs if you're planning to drive and stay over, staying in NJ somewhere can help you avoid the bridge tolls into Philly.

In general? Huge. For the amount of people they let in? Tiny.

Camden has the best lawn in the country though. I'd definitely take advantage of that N1 and try to get lowers for N2

I haven't been to all of em so maybe its a stretch, but it is certainly up there. Nice deep moat and high roof make for a great view of the stage, theres a great view of the Philly skyline and (Ben Franklin?) bridge, and I just get the best vibe from it.

Only one thats come close for me has been Deer Creek.

I thought I didn't like Camden (the venue as a whole) until we went to Charlotte last year. I like Camden a lot more now

When we say great lawn, what makes it so? The Philly skyline or the quality/quantity of people?

Plenty of people drive down from North Jersey to make it more bearable

The lawn is decent sized and has good sight lines to the stage. There are only a few venues where I still do lawn and camden is one fo them.

being one of those who drove down from North Jersey for years, I would have to agree. :cool

I'm from Texas though, so that doesn't count.

yeah, agreed. I've done several country shows on the lawn at Camden. Those are always shitshows anyway, but great views.

Ticketmaster is showing 2 Day Pass tickets for these shows. Don’t ever recall seeing this before at Camden or specifically for DMB there.

Re: **Official Camden 2022**

Code:

Limit        Price Level
2        $135.00 GA PIT STANDING
2        $135.00 RESERVED SEATING
4        $95.00 RESERVED SEATING
6        $49.50 GA LAWN

So am I able to request 4 at the $95 and 2 at the $135 level?

Could be wrong, but I don't believe you're allowed to have two requests for the same show

I was gonna say, if you’re in Gloucester hop on the Ashland or Lindenwold PATCO and take that in. Real easy in and out, plus you’ll likely see the tour busses on the walk over.

Camden pit is absolutely horrible. Expect to be crammed in and likely have someone puke on you.

Re: **Official Camden 2022**

I echo what other folks have said, the lawn at Camden is one of the better ones! It's massive and on a slight incline so the views are excellent for the price, and if you run into neighbors who are annoying it's not difficult to find a new spot to enjoy the show. My only issue is sound....it used to be great, but the last few times I've been to the venue they haven't turned on the "mid tier speaker stacks" that are halfway up the lawn, leaving the lawn audience with only the speakers attached to the venue. For most people it's a non-issue but I like my concert experiences loud and unless I'm in the front of the lawn I struggle with getting my preferred decibel levels.

Also don't sleep on the 200 level seats, the views are still great! The extreme corner sections aren't the greatest (they aren't all that amazing in the 100 level either), but the center 200 sections near the soundboard have been some of the best sounding shows I've ever experienced!
