Warehouse 5, Vol 3 (aka LT 40) or Gorge ‘02.

LT 39 (from Halloween ‘98) is also under appreciated I feel like. Dave’s vocal “opera” outro is insane!!

9-28-94 Halloween>Ants Fake>Halloween Reprise. Surprised this version doesnt get talked about more. You want Boyd In his prime, this is the version. what he does on the reprise is awesome. Ive always loved the version on the Recently EP also.

9-28-94 is a Great version and an excellent show. Interesting fact 12.10.05 is the last time they played it like BTCS.

Hard to call.....I’m partial to ones with Tim because I think the electric guitar really suits the song well and the spaceship noises work because well, I’m a sucker for space noises.

LT36 - I won’t ever complain about a one-two punch of two step into halloween
LT15 - with the ASTB intro pumps it up
LT28 - intro just WAILS in terms of build up

Agreed, I think many of the early Halloween's are better than newer. I just always liked the raw stripped down sound of it.

I definitely gotta say the Madison Square garden version in 05 is tops for me. I think it's on 12/5 but I could be wrong.

I'm going to listen to this song, I'll turn on Gorge '02. It just sounds the cleanest to me.

My favorites are Recently EP and LT30. I also love the weird early versions from 92, but I admit they aren’t the “Best Live Version”

Honestly, the best performance of the song has got to be Dave and Carter on 12.4.2000. That one or the Tabernacle 4.21.98
