Anyhow, just noticed that the Sabres got a new deal on arena naming rights (and maybe it's just that the bank that's had it just got re-named again, but still, DAMMIT!). Like it didn't take me long enough to stop calling the place "The Marena" (short for Marine Midland Arena--it's on the Niagara river) before I got used to HSBC, but now it's the "First Niagara Center"? At least it still fits the area, but dammit, I hate learning new arena names. I still forget what the Florida Panthers' arena (shut up, it's what passes for my home venue these days) is called half the time, what with four different names in 10 years.
