I dont feel like a player, but as a fan I feel like I (we as a city) won, yes. Again were literally parsing some dumb phrasing, everyone knows they arent a member of the team ffs.

This was always hard for me with Orioles fans. Not exactly the same but Baltimore fans trying to make a D.C team their team always irked me a little

No kidding it's dumb, I was just pointing out Barbo writing something that was phrased in a funny way, wasn't really looking to explain why it was funny for a full page

Can people really bandwagon on their own city's team? now if all of a sudden I act like I care about Liverpool's champions league win or Toronto wins tonight and I get a kawhi jersey then i get it

Just unreal. He had a couple bad games this postseason, but his numbers in both the regular season and the playoffs after a loss are crazy. Obviously I have no problem with O'Reilly winning the Conn Smythe but Binnington would have been a deserving choice as well.

Is he under contract for next year? What a wild season for him. From an outsider’s perspective it felt like he came out of nowhere

He's a restricted free agent. Prior to winning the Cup I think most people thought he'd get a bridge "prove it" type of extension. That's probably still the wisest move but after this it's sort of hard not to just want to sign him to a long-term deal.

Looking for a couple Blues stories to run in our paper tomorrow and there is one on Binnington. In his first NHL start, he shut out the Flyers. Add that to Schenn and Berube! Glad they can continue to contribute to other teams' success :lol:lol

It is still probably the wisest move. He’s still fairly unproven, as strange as that sounds. But it’s clearly hard not to get sentimental and open the checkbook for him. What about Jake Allen? I know the Blues were high on him at one point but I guess he’s older now
