You want a great example of the epitome to Lindros' career? Look no further than the NHL's facebook page recent status talking about Lindros' return in the orange and black. At least a dozen people have asked if Scott Stevens will be on the ice to "truck" Lindros again. Despite the fact that he's never played a game in his life as a Ranger, nor does it seem to register on these poor bastards' minds that the true epitome of Lindros' career was not the Stevens hit, but one given by Darius Kasperititus, who will be playing tomorrow as a Ranger.

It gets RTed by one of my followers who is a hockey and and I get this response:

hey look its @Roose_TTB the stereotypical fat-fuck douche bag flyers "fan"! Bahahah #letsgopens

Granted, after I changed my pic to me saluting and RTed his tweet, he followed me and loves me now. Their fans are so incredible some times.

There have been a couple sorties, yes. But I place a lot of blame on the selfishness of the rest of the team. They are not playing a team game, demonstrating a lack of trust in eachother.

The selection process for team USA is ridiculous. Totally biased against the top tier players that go to play in the ohl.

Let's not forget who Leighton (spelled wrong, too lazy to correct) had to play in the finals. He was up against quite a goddamn awesome team. It's not his fault he couldn't stop a juggernaut.

And I guess we need to appoint someone to be official greeter? It's an NHL thread, just come in and post and get into a conversation.

To be fair, Leighton let up quite a few soft goals in games one and five, and still should've stopped Kane's series winner.

I don't see why people defend him so much unless someone says he outright sucks. He had a great playoff run and then looked pretty weak in the Finals. Shit happens, but there's no reason to sugarcoat it - he was terrible against Chicago.
