A couple stellar moves right before the season started certainly helped.

Was saying it for years we needed an upgrade in g and d. Those additions have been huge. The developing youth up front along with Grabovski & Kulemin has given us great depth up front so Tavares doesn't have to carry the team offensively.

I expected to contend for a playoff spot before adding Boychuk andLeddy. Adding them made me expect a spot. No way did I expect this record. The 15-6 record represents the best 21 game start in the history of the franchise.

Wow, did not know this. Considering some of the ridiculous Isles teams from the past, that's impressive.

Tell me about it. It was a surprising stat for me, too.

I'm sure you know what's up next for us. A home and home with the Caps.

Haha, nope. Had no clue ;)

I'm just hoping we can pick up at least one W. The Caps offense has gone MIA this month, so I have my doubts.

Its almost Thanksgiving and the Islanders have more wins than the jets, giants, Knicks and Nets combined.

I have Halak and Mason as my two goalies. 46 saves from Mason and they both got shutouts for me last night. Amazing. How rare is that in today's NHL?

Lucic called this punch from Prout gutless. Is he joking? He punched Prout in the back of the head, then when they do lock up gets dropped.

Re: The NHL Thread

Lucic is a buffoon. Literally. A buffoon. He used to have a rep of being a hard ass to play against, but now he just acts like an animal. Prout is gonna have to answer the bell the next time the two teams face off, but if he's smart, he won't engage. Lucic will have a coronary and probably get a misconduct.

Lucic is a joke. Good article on why people have grown tired of him:

http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nhl-pu...211119715.html

I used to get it, he was a guy that people loved to hate. Loved by B's fans, hated by everyone else, but he served his purpose. Now? Just shut up Luc.

:lol Lucic calls another player's action gutless :lol

This the same guy that threatens to kill people when his team loses.

Go spear someone else's nuts, Milan. Asshole.

Hey boys and girl, I know it's been a while. Work has sucked beyond belief and thankfully have gotten a new gig in a department at the university so starting Monday I should be much happier. Also will make going to tonights game much more fun too.

He is the worst.
The only gutless things that ocurred were Luccic punching Prout in the back of the head and then trying to punch Prout once the refs got inbetween and then throwing his glove.

That man is the city of Boston inside of a human :lol
