DMB Record Store Day 2017 (4/22/17)
RSD is just around the corner!
I'm not sure of the track record for these guys, but at TDC someone has posted a rumor that RR95 may be the RSD 2017 release: This thread: http://www.thesedayscontinue.org/sho...205986&page=82 and this thread: http://www.thesedayscontinue.org/sho...=205650&page=4 I had heard this before (RR95 eventually appearing as a RSD or RSDBF release), so it would be interesting to see if this materializes. |
Re: DMB Record Store Day 2017 (4/22/17)
This would get me to my local store.

Re: DMB Record Store Day 2017 (4/22/17)
Hopefully they'd follow the years past of a colored variant for RSD and a black release for the public.

I don't care if it's colored or traditional black vinyl, I just really want RR '95 on vinyl. :thumbsup |

I don't care if it's color or splatter or whatever. I just want it released.

Re: DMB Record Store Day 2017 (4/22/17)
Have heard rumors of this for over a year, so I'll wait for some more confirmation. But very exciting news
Hope they just do a single release and not color/black. Do it how they did Recently and press 7-10K copies |
Re: DMB Record Store Day 2017 (4/22/17)
Hope it's true. That LIOG is going to sound magnificent.

Re: DMB Record Store Day 2017 (4/22/17)
If this gets announced, I hope that means being able to purchase this as a 24-bit 192 kHz download isn't too far off in the future.

Re: DMB Record Store Day 2017 (4/22/17)
Maybe a new LT announcement to go with it

Re: DMB Record Store Day 2017 (4/22/17)
I've always said I'd buy Red Rocks on vinyl, but the CD sounds so good to me I wonder if there really is any point. I probably will anyway.
Luther College though... I NEED Dave and Tim on vinyl. But if I get these two, my interest in re-released live DMB on vinyl will start to decline. I will want studio stuff or new live releases. |

Re: DMB Record Store Day 2017 (4/22/17)
I can confirm with 100% confidence that Red Rocks will indeed be the vinyl release this RSD. I do not know edition size or anything about colors yet though. Should see the official word in a week or so

Re: DMB Record Store Day 2017 (4/22/17)
I prefer LT5 over RR to be honest. Best Jimi Thing I've ever heard. If it were Luther or LS, I'd be a buyer.

Would also love a 12" single of the #41 from 4.20.02 as a cool special release. First half of the song on side A, rest of the jam on side B There's a lot of cool things they could release, just a matter of whether or not it would be profitable for them |
Re: DMB Record Store Day 2017 (4/22/17)
This is what I heard this morning:
Dave Matthews Band - Red Rocks 95 (Limited Edition, 150 gram vinyl) Pressing Count - 2500 A fellow ant heard that it will be on silver vinyl. |

Silver would look cool. Wonder if they'll keep the original artwork for the box |

My store will probably not get one, so I want to put my name on an ISO list in the event they don't get one. :lol
