I guess so. Maybe it's just that I'm not feeling DMB/DM any more. Maybe I'll change my mind. First thought though was hard pass.

Lots of venues in Jax, wow.

Closer to GSU than Atlanta, so I'll be at this and then the Alpharetta show. I can scratch Nashville out now and just do these two.

$95 to see D&T is fucking absurd.

So pumped for this! But why wouldn't they have announced it with the tour dates?

Venue is only 5,500 capcity. This will be one of the most intimate shows on the tour. :thumbsup

That Tuesday night really is a killer. Jax is 4/5 hours drive from South Florida. Don't see how I can do that without taking two days off work :/

Always wanted to see D+T, but this might not be my year

They are the 1st act to ever open that venue. My guess it had something to do with that (i.e. confirm that the venue will be ready? Or maybe they had another artist in play?).

Why do you think that? I'd pay more to see D&T than DMB

BruceW 01-27-2017 04:06 PM

Re: *** Official Jacksonville D&T 2017 ***

I will say however that $95 for every seat in the venue is dumb. Should've at least bumped the uppers down a bit

Re: *** Official Jacksonville D&T 2017 ***

Tix request in.

ThatLetter 01-27-2017 07:03 PM

Re: *** Official Jacksonville D&T 2017 ***

This is going to be a hard ticket to get. 5500 seats. Jaguars season ticket holders get first crack at seats before public sale. By the way they aren't the first act. There are a couple of others in the days before D&T.

ThatLetter 01-27-2017 07:11 PM

Re: *** Official Jacksonville D&T 2017 ***

Too late to edit. I'd bet most acts will be nearly impossible to get with a season ticket holder first dibs policy. For any half decent show, why wouldn't you as a season ticket holder buy your max and then list them on stub hub?

Re: *** Official Jacksonville D&T 2017 ***

Anyone who will be in town the weekend before the show should go see Tedeschi Trucks Band on Saturday night. They'll be the venues first ever act.
I've been a fan for a while but saw them for the first time last weekend at the Chicago Theatre. Like DMB, you will hear any different genres in their music and the 12 piece group puts on an amazing show. Derek Trucks will blow your mind with his guitar playing.

Re: *** Official Jacksonville D&T 2017 ***

Because its tough to sell uppers and not every season ticket holder will get lowers. After you pay the stub hub fees you might make a few bucks. If you were able to get choice seats then yes but I wouldn't mess around with 200 level tickets.
