|
Re: The NHL 2013-14 Thread
Vanek to the Habs
|
Re: The NHL 2013-14 Thread
Wow. Anaheim really fucked that one up huh??
|
Re: The NHL 2013-14 Thread
what did montreal give up?
|
Re: The NHL 2013-14 Thread
Still waiting on confirmation from Big 3 on Vanek... no announcement of other trade details yet.
|
Re: The NHL 2013-14 Thread
To the Habs but for who??? Ugh. Lmk so I can move on with my day .
|
Re: The NHL 2013-14 Thread
B's can't win with that guy.
|
Re: The NHL 2013-14 Thread
Pierre LeBrun @Real_ESPNLeBrun now Vanek to Montreal in exchange for a 2nd round pick and a prospect
:lol nice job, Snow. |
Re: The NHL 2013-14 Thread
Prospect and pick it sounds like for Vanek. Snow still screwed it up. Better than nothing but...
|
Re: The NHL 2013-14 Thread
I'm very very nervous the Capitals got Halak. I've heard Halak for Neuvirth, Klesla and a 3rd. Possibly an issue with getting it done by 3

Ehrhoff more likely to go than Halak based on what I've seen
|
Re: The NHL 2013-14 Thread
Wow, Garth....wtf?!
|
Re: The NHL 2013-14 Thread
I imagine Garth Snow just off crying in a dark room right now with a bottle of Jack.
|
Re: The NHL 2013-14 Thread
I think other teams (LA and Anaheim) fucked up more than Snow with Vanek.
|
Re: The NHL 2013-14 Thread
seriously, depending on who the prospect is LA almost gave more for Gaborik.
|
@RealJackEdwards: On WEEI now. Vanek 62 pts in 53 games lifetime vs. Boston.
That's just not fair :lol |

EDIT: And then the asking price went down after they made the Gabby deal. But yeah, Anaheim seemed to be in prime position to swoop him up. Wonder what happened. You have to think they wouldn't at least match what MTL ended up paying. |
Re: The NHL 2013-14 Thread
I will reserve judgement til I hear who the prospect is. Maybe he overplayed his hand. Prospect better be someone who can play in NHL this year. No ahl crud thank you.

And the Ducks feel like they're still behind the Chicago's and St. Louis's of the West, a Vanek would have been huge for them. |
Re: The NHL 2013-14 Thread
Worried the move for Legwand meant bad news for Helm or Weiss but a guy who writes for the Wings replied to me and said it doesn't necessarily mean that.

EDIT: Matt Larkin @THNMattLarkin 1m Disappointing return for Isles. Collberg rated as Montreal's No. 6 prospect in Future Watch. Would've expected de la Rose, Fucale, etc |
Re: The NHL 2013-14 Thread
Halak possibly traded. Nevermind Matt :lol
|
Re: The NHL 2013-14 Thread
Whispers of Halak landing in Washington...
|
Re: The NHL 2013-14 Thread
Soooooo... Garth traded Moulson, a 1st round pick, and a 2nd round pick for a 2nd round pick and an AHLer
It's all part of the plan... |
Re: The NHL 2013-14 Thread
God dammit
|
Re: The NHL 2013-14 Thread
Halak to the Caps.
