You're talking about the War Room, right?

Both, really. War room is not kind to us.

Too bad the Hawks couldn't get two points tonight. STL and Colo losing last night helped and they couldn't capitalize. Damn.

For sure. I only caught the very end of the game. Yesterday was great too.

Could have helped spoil a little more with a regialtion win. Wings would be within 2. Also wtf Pens? You couldn't help either? I know you're missing some guys but I needed your help. lol

We could have but I was expecting a loss as we you, I would think. I was surprised by the win AND 5 goals. Toronto looked terrible. And I started Bernier in my fantasy league as I thought he was a great option last night. Not at all disappointed it went the other way.

I like the sound of "Toronto looked terrible." Hoping that keeps up. Within 3 of TO and TBL and 5 of the Habs. I like.

As we get to the home stretch, so weird to be rooting against Eastern teams. I saw the score of the SJ game and thought "damn the Sharks won" and then was like oh yeah I don't care if they win or not.

There was also a report earlier this week, or last week, about Seattle getting close. Wonder if there is more truth to these than I had originally thought.

Knew it. Made too much sense. I have Miller and he was doing well for me. Will be better now. Now the Sabres need to get Halak signed. Good luck with that.

Miller and Ott for Stewart, Halak, William Carrier, a 2015 first and a conditional 2016 third.

HallowBillies7 02-28-2014 07:44 PM

Blues going all in, they're going to be scary come playoff time

I would be surprised if they did this. Matt Hackett would be a capable backup on a rebuilding team, and really no better time than now to give the reigns to Enroth.

Think they just flip him for a pick(s) later?

I see them doing this, Buffalo looks to be doing well in their rebuilding phase. Edmonton might want to take down notes :lol

Wouldn't be surprised. Could be a reason the deal was done a few days before the deadline. Maybe to MTL as a rental in case Price is out a while? I haven't heard reports on how he's doing.

Edit: I jut don't see a rebuilding club like the Sabres signing a veteran-ish goalie with a reasonably high price tag going into free agency when they've got 2 young guys who are much cheaper. Thrifty is the name of the game for the Sabres right now. Give the kids a chance to grow for the next couple seasons while expectations are low.

I can't see Halak being here in Buffalo after next Wednesday. He certainly won't be resigned.

Stewart has been linked to Ottawa for a while and now that Murray has traded for him those rumors have blown up.

Yeah. I think they'll flip them both, possibly in a package deal with Moulson.

Re: The NHL 2013-14 Thread

They'll flip Halak to the Flyers for Emery and Voracek and then holmgren will sign Halak to a 5 year extension.

DynastyDrummer1 02-28-2014 08:52 PM

Re: The NHL 2013-14 Thread

If I just heard Murray right, the 2016 3rd round conditional pick rides on Miller resigning in St. Louis. If he resigns Buffalo gets a 2014 1st.

edit: yes I did, he just re-stated it.
