I have to disagree 100% on officiating. These teams average like 4 minutes a piece per game in penalty minutes and through 2 periods there have been, what, 11 penalties called? That is insane. The refs have taken this game and ruined any sort of momentum either team has had. There have been a couple absolutely legitimate calls made, but the majority of calls are awful. Let the guys play!

That looked like a pretty good hit but I am watching a shitty stream so maybe not. I'd say Pitt had done a pretty good job of shutting down the Flyers since Philly scored their 1st goal but then Briere fires in a goal out of nothing and makes it close. Exciting hockey game, though. A lot of end to end action.

I'll agree that the calls are pretty touchy, but it's both ways. Neither team is getting a distinct advantage or disadvantage bc of the refs. That was my point. I guess I worded it wrong when I said the officiating was fine - I just meant it was unbiased. I wish they would let them play more too.
