My goaltending tandem is amazing.

I'll post mine when I'm 100% finalized with it.

They better pick one. You can't do that rotating shit. Wings tried it in 96 with Vernon and Osgood and that didn't work. My guess is it'll be Halak. Hitchcock is a Scotty Bowman type guy. Likes the veterans and Halak has done it before.

1 point per goal or assist. Two points for win. Bonus point for a shutout (I believe any defender on said team gets a bonus point as well as the goalie)

Wysh is talking about NHL Finisher moves on twitter that I'm finding pretty amusing. These are the one's I've come up with thus far.

LaRAQUE Bottom
Patrick Sharpshooter
Texas CLOWEverleaf

I think the favorite that I've seen thus far is the Figure Forsberg. :lol

:lol while I'd love it to be my team, I always enjoy watching the cup finals, regardless of the two teams.

:/. Thanks for looking. I guess the NHL doesn't set the dates like the MLB/nfl.

5 on 3 PK. Could be a game changer in a hostile building like Winnipeg.

Re: NHL 2011/2012 Thread

The initial picks for the fantasy league are for Round 1 only correct? Here is the team I drafted:

G Luongo (Van always dominates first round series, except for when they play Hawks)
G Brodeur (I'm thinking NJ will be able to take care of FLA)

D Edler (See Luongo)
D Karlsson (Points)
D Keith (Should be able to put together a few points)
D Girardi (NYR should take round 1)

F Crosby (fingers crossed hes healthy)
F Neal (Been on fire lately)
F Malkin (Point machine)
F Bolland (Playoff performer)
F H. Sedin (points in 1st round series)
F Gaborik (Points for NYR 1st round)

^ Problem with picking 3 Pens is that if they do end up in 1st to end season they might make quick work of 8 seed. Otherwise meeting with Philly could be long series & all those picks would be pretty great.

Ya, I mean I figure either series they have, either Philly or Buffalo/Washington they should manage to put up points at will.

Not really cause I see four shutouts courtesy of Michael Leighton.

True, but longer series are better than shorter ones. But they could light up Washington like 6-0 in 4 straight so it could still rack you up a ton of points.

Re: NHL 2011/2012 Thread

Yeah it's tricky finding a combination of players who won't get eliminated yet will hopefully play more than 4 or 5 games per series.

Edit: except goalies.
