Last night was a disaster for two periods. They couldn't complete two passes. One pass. They iced it 174 times. Ugly.

Yes. Team played well in front of him until the third goal. Then everything went out the window for Flyers. He never came up with a big save.

Jake guentzel is my fucking boy. That kid can do anything and everything

Colorado is really good. Kinda felt bad how it ended for them, really shit puck luck but you better believe i'll take those points any way we can get them during this rash of injuries

now we get Dallas and the Las Vegas Fleurries back-to-back this weekend

if the Pens can find a way to get 3 points or better, all of a sudden they'll be red hot

the only time i really miss Kessel is on power play zone entries. The pens were horrible at those before Kessel got here and took over, and now they're horrible at them again. Letang is so damn talented but he's just not good at getting the PP setup. it's perplexing.

Really loving Shultz's BOMBS from the left circle though once they do get set up. i forgot what it's like to have a one-timer from that circle :lol

he needs to hit the net a little more but that'll come with time

I was so bummed - I had to miss most of the game and turned it on like a minute before Landeskog -- I mean the Pens -- scored ;)

From what I hear the Pens came out flying and impressed considering their depleted roster. Good character win for them against a great Avs team. Also a good teaching moment for the young Avs.

Pens were definitely skating last night

classic letang game though...horrible decision making half the time and incredible recovery and positioning the other half of the time

that #1 Avs line though...good god

And I heard MacKinnon had some sort of nagging injury that was hampering his play? Like I said I didn't catch the game but was reading something about it on Twitter.

He got hit by hornqvist in the first, somewhat open ice leg to leg

Avs coach openly said between period 2 and 3 that he was dealing with a charlie horse from the hit. You dont normally hear stuff like that thrown out ever, let alone mid game.

Haven't really been following hockey because I've been 100% focused on the Nats but how have the Rangers only played 3 games while the Caps have played 8?

yea they had a whole week off between games 2 & 3

not sure why but it's strange...maybe arena scheduling or an early bye week? no clue
