No. I wasn’t around much in 04 if I’m remembering right.

My favorite thing about Boston fans is they don't let anything go. Then they beat it into the ground to really add to their likability.

It is weird that this only happens with Boston fans on these boards... :rolleyes

Roose still bitter about being #oldtakeexposed about one of the more awful sports takes ever posted on this forum.

How many games would have Wilson gotten for that same hit & leaving his feet?

I’m surprised there wasn’t a call on that... but it was a good no call since he didn’t leave his feet to make the hit. It was the momentum after that took him off his feet

That's what I say about Wilson - yet it's his reputation that precedes him

I thought it was a clean hit by Krug. Big hit but clean. I'm sure there's plenty of people clamoring for a dirty hit

None, if he would have thrown the same hit as Krug (in which Krug didn't leave his feet to make the hit).

in the regular season it's a penalty.

Boston's hatred of the Yankees was legendary back then. So don't give us any they hate us cuz they ain't us crap. Back then Sox fans were like you don't understand how cursed we are. What a burden it is to be a Sox fan, you pass it on to your kids. People have lived their whole lives without seeing the sox win. Oh god bucky dent.

They've spared you by winning the World Series four times since then, you won't hear much about it anymore

I don't think anyone has hated a team more than the Red Sox fan base hated the Yankees. Don't buy their they hate us cuz they ain't us crap. They were fine doing it.

Hate us cuz they ain't us is a Patriots thing, also not sure why you are explaining that the Red Sox fan base didn't like the Yankees to us

They are all the same people.

I think Boston fandom probably goes like this:

Red Sox

Celtics
Patriots
Bruins.

Although I can't figure out now were the Patriots fit.

Spare me!

This, I am in SW CT and have a lot of Sox fan friend, prior to 2005 they were like a bunch of palestinians with their constant complaining about how unfair the world is!

I still think the Sox are #1 for Boston fans but there might be a generational divide depending on what team was good back in your day. I realize the Pats are popular now but I still think it's a Red Sox town.

I was thinking the other day, why don't Pittsburg, Las Vegas, Nashville and New York have professional basketball teams?
