Yup, he is a POS who deliberately did that. Nice thing is they play again tomorrow and that prick will have a bulls eye on his back and the Hawks will take every shot they can at him, hope Chicago keeps Hayden on the roster for tomorrow so be can beat the ever living shit out of Pinocchio and end his season. Cocksucker is probably the most hated guy in the league, hell I think Subban is over-rated and a lousy D man but at least he has some redeeming qualities as a human, big nose has none.

Also if I’m Cassidy tomorrow is a “maintenance day” for Marchand. If he thinks they will be out there head hunting there is no reason to have him on the ice tomorrow.

It’s such an awkward play. I could see both sides with it being intentional and incidental, but since it’s Marchand you lean towards the intentional because of history. Wonder how the DOPS will handle this

I actually respect Chara, he is a class act - admittedly a gigantic one. That said he is going to be 41 in a week and cannot be on the ice every shift and knows better than to jump off the bench and enter a fight because he will be ejected and suspended if he gets on the ice to help. Just saying, he is too smart to do that so by default I think the Hawks will get their payback in when Chara is on the bench.
