Will he still be a backup goalie when he is starting for another team next season?

I can see him platooning playing the majority of the games with the Flyers

I did watch the game. Yea there were a lot of odd man chances, but starting goalies should make more saves than he did. Hawks should have been held to st most 3 goals

Lol wut. I havent seen anyone blame Maf. In fact, and i said this days ago, people are going out of their way to obsolve Maf of any bad play. Its a weird situation where if Murray plays bad it is his fault, if Maf plays bad its a bunch of other factors (injuries, bad D, etc.).

Brohan gonna brohan though.

Don't get me wrong, I really really really hope Murray tanks in playoffs and MAF has to step in. I love me some playoff MAF

:lol Odd man rushes last night ended up at 11-1. Not to mention the countless PP opportunities they had (Toews got stonewalled on 2 coming to mind)

But somehow it's MAF's fault?

Re: The NHL Thread (lolcaps)

Penguins have much bigger issues, they need to get healthy and they need to get some sort of home advantage. That 17 wins and 20 losses on the road isn't great. Also Murray's H/R splits are pretty dramatic

You could say that Maf is the Capitols of goalies. Does really well in the regular season than not so good in the playoffs. Though Maf does have the rings...

What Capitol is MAF? Do you know the dif b/t Capital and Capitol??

Do you want to go over Holtby playoff stats?? Yea his 1.87 GAA and .937 are the reason for the Caps playoff failures.

I guess capitol is like penns. Point is, Maf playoff tanks are almost like caps playoff tanks, only not as plentiful.

yes, and Fleury only gave up 1 goal that would be considered weak

on the rest, he was completely hung out to dry. undeniably

Fleury wasn't an issue at all last night

So 4/8 is a Saturday and the last day of the regular season. Would they start on the following Monday or maybe wait til Wednesday I'm wondering.

yea, although Sullivan has dropped a few hints in the past week

Letang is almost certainly going to be ready for the playoffs and Malkin could play tomorrow if it was Game 1

i think Maata, Hagelin and Daley are hugely important too though. crucial, in fact.

the system just doesn't work the same without those guys

https://www.google.com/webhp?sourcei...ffs+schedule&*

the local radio stations are reporting the same date too so i'm inclined to believe it

I read that somewhere as well. Hopefully they are fully rested and not rusty. Though I fear a physical round 1 against the jackets may be tough.
