Dale Hunter was a terrible pick to be the Caps coach.

I wouldn't be shocked to see Semin or Backstrom gone by the end of the year.

(Clearly kidding. I fully understand how great of a player Claude Giroux is, as evidenced by my purchase of an early Christmas present in the form of an OMGCG Winter Classic jersey. Hopefully he'll be back and ready to go by January 2nd.)

Also, any fan of hockey should check out the highlights of the Jets - Wild game tonight. 2 - 1 game but the amount of ridiculous, jaw-dropping saves is incredible. That crowd was going insane at the end of that game.

Went on my school's sports talk radio tonight and admitted for the first time in 3 years I'm actually concerned about the Caps. Everyone just looks lost out there. Also went out on a limb and called Mike Green 2011's first half mvp....ya'll would have loved it

Yeah Chris Conner! lol He had a pretty good game last night against his former team. When Malkin made it 1-0 late in the first I thought great you are playing half an AHL team and you are gonna lose? Pavel and Howie didn't dsiappoint though. For Howie he's given up 2 or fewer goals in 20 of 25 games.

Wow. That's pretty damn impressive. And that sprawling stick save he made to keep it 1-0 was wild. Puck just caught the top corner of his stick with both Malkin and Neal diving in to try to pick up the loose change.

Also....why have the Hawks and Wings not played yet? Only a couple weeks away from the first match-up, though.
