Wings re-sign Smith for two years. Interested to see if Blash can better utilize him. Apparently Wings also still thinking about buying out Weiss. Not sure if I want to or not with Pavel being ready at the start of the season in question. IF they are really thinking about it, wonder if that means they think they are going to sign someone tomorrow.

Mark Madden just reported he a source that's "high up" saying penguins are in play to trade for Brandon Saad after he was low balled by Blackhawks. Trade would most likely send Pouliot to Chicago

I love Pouliot, but I would take this in a heartbeat. Shell out the 4 mil a year and pull the trigger

If the reports are that he wanted $4m per year, that is nothing for a legitimate top line winger.

Now they are paying Anisimov $3.2m/yr. Hahahah WHAT.

Trade Sharp for a 2nd rder. Buyout Bickell. Both of those are better ideas than trading away a franchise player for garbage.
