Solid prank lol. Love stuff like that. Alway funny.

Sadly the series didn't end well but after game 5 against the Lightning someone changed the "owner" of the Lightning to Petr Mrazek.

I always love the wikipedia pranks. Fun and harmless. In the past, I know that the Capitals owner has been listed as "Henrik Lundqvist" after a Caps/Rags series, and the Nassau Coliseum page said it was closed "by the Washington Capitals" last week. I think Braden Holtby may have been listed as the owner of the Bruins at one point in the past, too.

The Holtby one was earlier this season after he shutout Boston all three games this year.

Big game 4 tonight. As has been mentioned, the difference between 3-1 and 2-2 is gargantuan. Caps have a huge chance to put a real stranglehold on this series. We all know how it usually goes when the Caps have a huge chance to put a stranglehold on a series.

I had forgotten about it, I think I saw it on Puck Daddy at some point. So, so good.

We came back from 3-1 last year, but if the Caps win I think the series is over. Can't really keep using Caps history as a measure. They are clearly a different team this year.

NYR gotta pull this one out tonight! Can't go back to MSG down 3-1.

Until they prove me wrong, I will continue to assume the worst is about to happen

This. So much this. Montreal and Halak in 2010 this. As a DC sports fan with zero confidence in any team, if we go up 3-1 tonight I'll just feel like the Rangers have us right where they want us.

:lol exactly. I've even been saying all season I think this is a better equipped Caps team to be successful in the playoffs, and I still have zero confidence they will win this series. They definitely might, but they absolutely could screw it up too.

You guys remember that whole winning 3 rounds and getting to the Finals thing the Rags did last year right?

Yes, yes, that does ring a bell. Wasn't that almost a year ago? And aren't the NYR in a different season now? And aren't the NYR down in a series right now? Speaking about present times, I'm nervous until NYR have 4 wins in every playoff series in 2015.

Literally what I said was that Caps are historically a miserable playoff team. They've done nothing to change that since they started making the playoffs again over the last 8 years. The same cannot be said about the Rangers at all.

the rangers are completely and historically a miserable playoff team. barring 1994, the Rangers have done nothing since 1940.

I'm not debating history. I'm speaking about being down in a series, and having to win tonight. Because if the NYR do not win tonight, it will be difficult to come back from a 3-1 deficit... even against a historically awful Washington Capitals team.

I mean they aren't the Red Wings certainly, but winning the East one year ago and getting to the conference finals 3 years ago isn't the same kind of miserable that I've been through.

I wasn't debating anything. Was just saying it's silly to say you assume the worst from your team when your team won 3 rounds last year. That's not really a worst case scenario playoff run.

well yeah, but you're a Caps fans and the Caps are the worst.
