Re: The NHL Thread
Way to respond.

Re: The NHL Thread
Was at the Leafs Rangers game. Hagelin is terrify with his speed.
Rielly has the makings of a world class talent. Kid had two absolute beauties tonight. |
lol the Flyers
|
Re: The NHL Thread
Flyers are so awful. Gonna take at least three years to get over Holmgren's disasterous management.
|
Re: The NHL Thread
Fuck you Flyers, but thanks Nashville...sorta. Regulation would have been better but Wings now have 4 games in hand on TBL and only 3 points back.
|
Re: The NHL Thread
My phone just blew up.
@DarrenDreger: Huge deal. Hearing Myers Stafford Armia and Lemieux plus a first for Kane and Bogosian as principles of deal getting close btwn Buf + Wpg. |

Amazing tank move by Buffalo.

Re: The NHL Thread
Amazingly big deal. Thankfully the Myers to Detroit shit can stop now. Someone said you don't see these deals much anymore cause of the cap. I like the move for Buffalo in the long run. Add McDavid to that plus some of the young talent they have, that's good. Of course it's a tank as they trade away guys playing for only one that is now but...duh.
|
Re: The NHL Thread
big deal for buffalo, makes sense on all levels including making them much worse for the rest of this year.
|
Re: The NHL Thread
what a move by winnipeg too. It's a great deal all around. One can claim Myers as a reclamation project too. Plus, a 1st rounder. Then two prospects? Sweet deal.
Sabres now have Bogo, Zardorov, Rozzie on D. Reinhart, Kane, McDavid or Eichel. |
Re: The NHL Thread
The 1st has to be for 2016, right?
Edit: Oh.. They have Someone else's first, right? |
Re: The NHL Thread
Sabre's retain half of Stafford's Salary.
Edit: Sorry for the Double Post. |
Re: The NHL Thread
First comment on ESPN summed it up. "Almost had a heart attack because I thought it was Patrick Kane."
When the news ticker went by and said "shock blockbuster trade sends Kane to sabers." I thought the same thing haha |

Re: The NHL Thread
Wow on that trade. Couple things:
- I love the stocking up work that Buffalo's doing, especially with the depth in the upcoming couple drafts. Let's hope it pays off. - Bogosian might be the dark horse of this move. Awesome, awesome, awesome stay-at-home defender. Would love him on the Avs. Would have actually been a really good potential mentor for Myers, but... - Good riddance to Kane, shipping him to Buffalo. Of course, if he responds positively and plays well with the kids, this could be something special. |
Re: The NHL Thread
Yeah good deal for both sides it seems, especially Buffalo. Agree with Matty that Bogosian is very good and underrated
|
Re: The NHL Thread
Kane has to be excited to play with some more offensive weapons and out of Paul Maurice's dog house too.
|
Re: The NHL Thread
I also wonder how Kane will respond to playing under Nolan. It could go really well, or be a disaster. All up to Kane, methinks.
|
Re: The NHL Thread
Sabres not done yet. Enroth to DAL for Lindback. Curious.
|
Re: The NHL Thread
^ Plus a 3rd round pick.
Just ensuring they have no goalie to win a single game with. |
Re: The NHL Thread
possibly the best the pens have looked in a while at the start here.
|
Re: The NHL Thread
yeah they got good jump
|
Re: The NHL Thread
What the hell Red Wings. Terrible showing
|
Re: The NHL Thread
Hawks real lackadaisical. Giving the puck away like it's their job.
|
Re: The NHL Thread
Hossa's killing it. Good god. That was an intense final 10 minutes.
|
Re: The NHL Thread
So Vegas sells 5,000 tickets in 36 hours. I thought this is probably gonna happen anyways, but if they are doing that, and keep it up to the reported goal of 10,000 tickets, I think it's a for sure thing.
edit: Also I laugh again at the Sabres wanting Myers or Larkin from the Wings for Myers. |

still would like to see them go into less of a "shell" in the 3rd but they got the job done look out tonight though, back-to-back after a highly emotional game wouldn't be surprised by a let down tonight in Ottawa, hoping not |
