Cool. Tim is back.

Islanders don't suck.

Bring on the Crapitals. (Long time since I uttered that word)

I always looked forward to games even when we were at the bottom but this year, I feel like a kid waking up on Christmas at puck drop.

Hoping both the Islanders and the Flyers get wins tonight. I need Halak and Mason to continue their high level of play. Need some wins in Fantasty!

My 5 year old called them the Crapitals just the other day after hearing me say it dozens of times. So proud of that little guy.

Screw you. Already had one loss when I was at JLA this year, don't want to go 0-2.

It's nothing personal. I just have no players on my team from Detroit. I hope they all do terribly. I'd love nothing more then a shut out from Mason.

In saying all of that, I fucking hate the Flyers as well.

In other news, Tim is back! :hug

Is he playing tonight? Guess it doesn't matter. Emery stood on his head in Philly about a month ago against this team so...

Couple of haters in here. Islanders been good for like 5 minutes and the Avs are all the way in last place. Solid work

:lol:lol when I typed it, I was like, too soon, lol. I mean, I've talked trash to about only 5 teams in the last 20 years but it was on the tip of my tongue and so I went with it. The last time I called them that was probably during the 93-94, after the Hunter hit. It felt good, I must admit. Hopefully, the team backs up my mouth tonight.

You see he got hurt again? Took a solid hip check in the game on Saturday and is now out for the foreseeable future, and since it's MG, it'll probably be a while.

And on another fantasy note, my goaltending has just been dismal. I neeeeed Varly to come back. Mike Smith is having just a putrid season.

Wasn't aware the Isles pulled so much orange out of their jersey. Is that a third or just their standard?

The Phantoms and Devils of the AHL are playing in Atlantic City on Friday. Flyers prospect Anthony Stolarz will be in net in his home state: http://www.pressofatlanticcity.com/s...2b75cbc06.html

The new 3rd jersey to replace those black ones. It debuted at the yankee stadium games vs the Rag$ and became the official 3rd jersey this year.

It wasn't our best effort tonight but we got the win, which is all that matters.

Re: The NHL Thread

Well that was a good game. Would have liked to not give up that one in the third but they are putting wins together now.
