Vanek said if it didn't work out with Minn., he would have been happy coming back to the Island. Most of me is happy he didn't, though we needed a top line W and obviously not getting it thru FA. Guess one of the kids is going to the top line as it stands now.

Absolutely. I'm kind of in shock. Versteeg, Rozsival and Oduya are the obvious answers to be shipped out. Leddy maybe too, but Rozsival is the most likely.

Sending TT down to Rockford for a little more seasoning makes sense. At least to start the year.

This is an incredible deal for the Hawks if we just have to move Rozsival or Leddy...or Versteeg. Pretty damn awesome to add some depth down the middle. We need it.

I really, really love this signing. Ideally Rozsival gets dealt and Johns is ready for the NHL.
