Fun game in Raleigh tonight. Isles were up 3-0 just 6 minutes into the game and now are holding by a thread to a 5-4 lead in the 2nd. Martin and McDonald, 2 4th liners have 2 goals each. 2 unlikely guys going for hatties, lol.

They have a tough time scoring 3 goals so down 2-0 is tough. But Nyquist is a beast right now.

Dustin!!

SO happy for him tonight (goal and assist). Had a scary moment on Saturday. He wasn't on the ice at the start of the 3rd and I got a text from Nicole (his wife) that he was going to the hospital to get a CT scan. Apparently during the game he went to hit someone and got hit in the chest. Played more, even scored a goal, then was coughing up blood. Obviously he was cleared and traveled a day later to meet the team in Philly.

He's had a shitty year with injuries and crap, just hope he continues this steak he's been on since the Olympics into the playoffs.

Gibbons looked pretty good on the pk tonight. had some nice short handed chances.


this team is just a mess right now. Orpik and Scuderi particularly have lost several steps and look bad. They dont even try anymore to move guys in front of the net.

Fucking pathetic. No Bob and you can't beat them. Wings better show up when I'm there on Thursday. Can't beat teams that are struggling so how do you plan on beating one that isn't?
