Ok, now I'm totally confused.

Is Doc sick or doing the WCF? I ask because last night whoever that jabroni was said multiple times, "...sitting in for Doc Emrick."

Why would they split up Doc and Edzo?

Albert has been doing the WCF games. At least he did game 2. I don't know who has been doing the ECF cause I watch CBC when I can.

Too many games bleeding together... I thought I heard doc on WCF game 1 friday night but I must be wrong.

Maybe he is sick or something

Heres the schedule

He was supposed to be doing the whole pens series like YNK said... so yeah he must be sick.

I don't hate Ovechkin. Just disappointed in him. And the team.

I read that earlier today. I always liked Savard when I lived in Boston. Hate how he and Horton went out of the sport. They both played big roles in turning the Bruins in to a title winning team.

this is decidedly untrue. they absolutely have home runs but for every one you see in your twitter timeline there are 30 that are utterly brutal

Every one Ive read is good. Do they all interest me personally? Absolutely not. Doesnt mean for fans of the teams or players that they arent enjoyable to read.

I will say many are not written as someone who has a degree in english, but thats to be expected.

I haven't read a bad one, I typically get them from posts somewhere, but I have read a few on my own. Obviously they aren't all stellar but generally speaking I enjoy them all.

that's the point I'm making "every one I've read"

people don't realize this but TPT puts out a ton of content, and most of it gets ignored. they hit big on the few that are truly good. that's a fine business model, whatever works.

They seemed to have picked up alot of steam over the past year. They are getting more topic oriented that interest a wider audience than just local fans.

Ive read a good bit of the hockey ones, they all seem to be at least solid. I wouldnt expect much of a variance from that quality for most.

I don't think Derek Jeter has to worry about making a profit off of TPT.

This is why NBC is still a joke for this. Not sure it's a good goal, we'll show one shitty angle and then just look at different people all over the ice. Overhead view? No that's for pussies.

Looked like the puck was going in to me, whether or not the net was knocked off. The only thing I can see that they did not rule it a good goal after review is that maybe they thought the puck was going to hit the post, tough to say with the lousy replays they showed.

That was an extremely stupid penalty for Mcleod to take. Game was tied at 0 late in the second, Boll makes a hard but legal check and that fool picks a fight to give the ducks a PP which they convert. Perry's penalty was stupid too but nowhere near as dumb as mcleod.

This Anaheim/Nashville series is so much fun. Pure, good hockey.

Sens/Pens tied and Nashville up 2-1? So far so good. I don't care about the average fan, I would enjoy the fuck out of Preds/Sens.

I would too. PTI (which I know they don't know hockey like we do but I still sometimes enjoy the show) had the debate a while ago about is it good if Nashville wins the Cup and said it won't matter in the rest of the country. OK but why does that matter? This isn't the NBA which is driven by ratings, the NHL is still very gate driven and Nashville winning it all would be HUGE for that market. People would want to go to games even more and they could raise ticket prices which is good for the Preds and the salary cap.
