Looks like they singled out a picture indicating they did a face swap but there was none.

:lol :lol oh

I don't know why they insist on participating in stuff they clearly aren't good at.

Like playoff hockey and twitter.

The thing is, if you want a positive social media presence, you need to pay professionals. I'd guess that's an intern or something. Not that it's that bad but, as you just posted, not very good.

Hey look the Wings won. I'd say it was cause of Mrazek's awesome helmet but they won in spite of him. Wish they could score that many with Howie in net.

Yeah just a pic of a girl and her dad at the game and they assumed it was a face swap when it clearly wasn't, then the girl responded that it wasn't and they doubled down on it with a tweet that basically said "yeah okay sure" :lol

Re: The NHL Thread (lolcaps)

Usually I use the intermissions to do a chore, grab a bite to eat, leave the bar for a smoke, or just do something to get off my butt. Last night I was not feeling all that great so I just put my head on the pillow and they began talking about the winter classic game between STL and CHI, I generally don't give a damn about it because it is largely a gimmick but this story was actually cool and shows that NHL brotherhood that extends even to team support staffs. STL has never hosted a winter classic so their equipment guys were not sure how to set up all their equipment like glove heaters, stick cutters, skate sharpeners, how to use a baseball locker room, etc, etc. One of the STL equipment managers tweeted something about how they were going about it on the fly. Despite the rivalry (and doing the same thing the whole day themselves) one of the Hawks equipment guys saw the tweet and their entire staff went over to help the STL guys get set up right for the game - the CHI guys have a lot of experience in that after hosting quite a few. Apparently after they all (both teams worth of equipment managers) exchanged genuine pleasantries, had a quick beer and headed to the stadium for last nights game as friends rather than bitter rivals.

Better get all my fantasy stuff in for the next two weeks. When I'm off next week I'll forget to set my roster.

I usually go in today and set it for the week. That's the extent I do it. I make a few changes if guys have sucked but that's it. A few weeks ago it was like Wednesday and I was like oh shit.... still was leading so it worked out. But yeah if I'm at home just sitting around next Monday the changes won't happen so better do it now.

Rangers are a lot of fun this year! Love beating those Devils!

I also wonder why it always seems like the Rangers have played more games than anyone else. Wonder when it will even out more.

it's a bit trickier when it comes to teams that share venues too. i'm sure that comes into play with teams that share with the NBA like the Isles, NYRs, Blackhawks, etc etc

"....the Wanderers had been sold to P. J. Doran, owner of the Jubilee Rink who now made plans to move the club from the Montreal Arena to the smaller Jubilee for the 1910 season. This upset the other members of the ECHA, who would receive a smaller share of the proceeds from games played in the Wanderers rink."

same shit, different millenium

On a Kings note: They looked very good the last three games, despite losing to Boston yesterday. This team is so so fragile right now though.

Not often that we hear of games being post-poned due to poor ice conditions.

We still lost, but at least he wasn't the ref. :lol

I just saw about the ice freezing incident. There was an arena full of people watching ice freeze. That is too funny :lol

Hey, some team invited fans to watch the lines get painted before the season one year. So fans literally watched paint dry.

Pens vs Rangers tonight! As long as I don't freeze my ass off in the walk up to the arena, it should be a good time!

I had nothing to watch last night so was excited about hockey and then...nope. Hope the ice is ok in Tampa tonight.
